BARSKDALE CUSTOMS PURCHASE AND INSTALLATION TERMS AND CONDITIONS
PLEASE READ CAREFULLY. THIS DOCUMENT CONTAINS IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT YOUR RIGHTS, RESPONSIBILITIES, AND LIMITATIONS REGARDING PRODUCTS AND INSTALLATION SERVICES PROVIDED BY BARSKDALE CUSTOMS.


1. SCOPE OF SERVICES
These terms and conditions ("Terms") govern the purchase of products and installation services provided by Barksdale Customs ("we," "us," or "our"). By purchasing products or scheduling installation services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.


2. CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Vehicle Condition: Customers must ensure their vehicle is in safe and operable condition before bringing it to our location.
  • Accurate Information: Customers are responsible for providing accurate vehicle details (e.g., year, make, model) to ensure compatibility with the requested products and services.
  • Test Fitment: Customers must verify the fitment of wheels, tires, or other parts before installation begins. Additional costs incurred due to incorrect fitment information are the customer’s responsibility.

3. ORDER ACCEPTANCE AND CANCELLATION

  • Orders: All orders placed with Barksdale Customs are considered an offer to purchase and must be accepted by us. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our sole discretion, including after confirmation emails have been sent.
  • Cancellations: Appointments for installation services must be canceled or rescheduled at least 24 hours in advance to avoid cancellation fees.

4. PRICING AND PAYMENT TERMS

  • Product Prices: Prices for products are subject to change without notice and will be determined at the time the order is placed. Taxes, shipping, and handling fees are additional unless otherwise specified.
  • Installation Fees: Installation service pricing varies depending on the complexity of the work and will be disclosed upfront.
  • Payment: Payments are required in full before the completion of installation or the release of products. Accepted payment methods include major credit cards, PayPal, and financing options such as Affirm and Acima, American First Finance, .....

5. SHIPMENTS, DELIVERY, TITLE, AND RISK OF LOSS

  • Shipping: Products ordered from us will be shipped according to the options selected at checkout. Shipping times are estimates only, and we are not liable for delays caused by the carrier.
  • Risk of Loss: Title and risk of loss for products transfer to the customer upon delivery to the carrier.

6. RETURNS, REFUNDS, AND EXCHANGES

  • Product Returns: Returns for products must be requested within 15 days of receipt and approved prior to shipment back. 25% Restocking fees may apply. Products must be in original, unused condition.
  • Non-Returnable Items: Wheels, tires, or suspension items that have been mounted, installed, or show signs of use are non-returnable unless due to manufacturer defects.
  • Labor Fees: Installation service fees are non-refundable.

7. INSTALLATION TERMS AND LIMITATIONS

  • Modifications: Some installations may require vehicle modifications, such as trimming or adjustments, which may affect the vehicle’s appearance or functionality. By proceeding with installation, you accept these potential changes.
  • Third-Party Products: We are not responsible for issues caused by defective or incompatible parts supplied by the customer.
  • Inspection: Customers are responsible for inspecting their vehicle immediately after installation to ensure satisfaction. Any concerns must be raised before leaving our premises.

8. WARRANTY

  • Manufacturer’s Warranty: Products are covered by the manufacturer’s warranty, subject to their specific terms. For warranty claims, please contact us or the product manufacturer directly.
  • Workmanship Guarantee: Barksdale Customs guarantees installation workmanship for a period of [insert timeframe, e.g., "90 days"] from the service date, provided no tampering or unauthorized modifications occur.

9. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

  • Jurisdiction: These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Louisiana, without regard to its conflict of laws principles.
  • Arbitration: By purchasing products or services, you agree to resolve disputes exclusively through binding arbitration under the American Arbitration Association (AAA) rules. Small claims court is available for eligible claims.
